Up for grabs in 2014

The season has only just finished but it looks like the moves are happening already with the rumour mill flying of at least 2 new Doorslammers heading to Darwin along with a bunch of local cars up for sale to make way for new purchases.

The big block powered Altered of Bronte & Jay Henning is up for grabs. Powered by a fresh 520ci big block Chev it features Dart 360 heads, Rodeck block, GRP Rods, Power glide and a Mark Williams Rear end. With a best ET of 6.9 sec at 198mph it was one of Darwin's first cars to dip into the 6sec zone.

Those wanting to get into Top Sportsman racing also have the opportunity of the 383ci small block Chev powered T Bucket of Allan Arthus. After upgrading to a new car Arthus has this reliable mid 8sec car up for grabs.

But if you prefer doors and a roof the wheel standing Pontiac of Knocker Renfery is available for a cool $30,000. 598ci with a 100 host of NOS was enough to get it hooking up like a ripper with some nice wheel standing 8.8sec passes.

For those looking for a fast Super Streeter Denise Millington Flay also has her white Holden VT Commodore ready to run. Powered by a 6.2L LS motor backed by a 4spd auto its an easy 11sec streeter.

Or if 2 wheel bikes are more your thing what about the 8sec Suzuki of Dave Denner? Turn key including trailer and heaps of spares its arguably the quickest bike in the Top End with plenty of 8sec passes to its name.

Whatever you fancy, there is a car or bike just waiting to find a new home in your shed for 2014.
