Cairns Industries signs onto the Colosseum

The stage has been set for 2015 with the announcement that Cairns Industries has signed on to be the naming rights sponsor for The Colossuem.

Cairns Industries is a building and civil construction company servicing the growth town of Borroloola. Founded in 2005, business owners Shaun and Kym Cairns found a need for trade’s people within the South West Gulf region.
“We identified not only a need for trade’s people but also a way to reduce the cost locals faced out here in these regions” Said Shaun Cairns, Director of Cairns Industries.

The Colossuem is Darwin’s very own dedicated burnout pad, providing people with the opportunity to push their vehicles to the limit. With high speed tip in’s and tyre frying action The Colossuem never disappoints with large crowds screaming for more.

“I’ve always had a passion for cars and motorsports so it’s great that we can team up with Hidden Valley Drag Racing Association to provide locals with this opportunity to do this in a safe environment.” Said Shaun Cairns
President Scott Maclean was excited about this new partnership with Cairns Industries coming into the second meeting for 2015.

“Whilst I love my drag racing, I can see that motorsport’s is evolving to appeal to a wider audience, that’s why it makes sense to provide an opportunity for locals to do burnouts at our events.” Said Scott Maclean.
The Cairns Industries Colosseum will be open tonight during our Test and Tune event. Gates open at 6pm, racing from 7pm and the tyre frying burnout action from 10pm.
