2021 Season Membership Now Open

>>2021 Season Membership Now Open !<<

With the world being turned upside down in 2020, its now time to get back on track with Hidden Valley Drag Racing Associations 2021 Season.
Get those cars and bikes out of the shed, dust them off and makes sure you are on the track Saturday 24th April.

Entries for this event will be open soon.

For Darwin drag racer Scott White, contesting the ANDRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Championship has been no easy street.

White is located in the Top End of the Northern Territory and as such has to travel long distances to contest the championship. A trip to Sydney with the 300kmh motorcycle can take up to four days.

Then there is the frustration of dealing with one of drag racing's most finicky vehicles. White opened his season in difficult fashion, with parts failures holding back the AMPAC Advanced Warning Systems team from showing its true potential.

Recent testing at Portland’s South Coast Raceway in Victoria produced a better result, with White setting a new track record for bikes at 4.729 seconds on the eighth mile venue.

This weekend White will be contesting the Aeroflow Summer Speedfest, round two of the championship, at Adelaide International Raceway. It’s his second appearance at the famed raceway and the racing distance for the category will be quarter-mile for the first time.

“The team and I were pretty disappointed following Sydney,” he said. “It was the first time on our own (without former bike owner Trevor Birrell) and we had a huge learning curve. But we got back into it and I have to say that I’m very proud of what we’ve done.

“Resetting the track record at Portland was a bonus for us but our focus is to win rounds in competition so we are pumped for this weekend. Adelaide is a bit of a tricky track so if we can get past the first round then I think we might be in with a shot.

“A win will certainly lift our spirits and give us incentive to persist. The bike and rider certainly have the capability to win; we just need to make sure all the ducks are lined up and have a little more luck go our way.”

You can follow Scott this weekend via his Facebook page Scott White – Pro Stock Motorcycle 868.
