Pit Allocations

Pit allocations will be announced after entries have closed. Please contact Hidden Valley Drag Strip if you have special requirements (ie large transporters).

Tow Fund

Teams traveling from outside the Darwin region are encouraged to apply for tow assistance. Funding is available to the first 10 teams and is based on the distance traveled, up to $300 per team. Applications must be in writing prior to the event and will be assessed on a first in first served basis.

The Hidden Valley Track Championship Series offers a competitive avenue for those who really enjoy their drag racing. These events feature everything from spectacular supercharged drag cars and motorcycles as well as categories for street cars and bikes. Brackets are run under a Chicago Shootout System which means no eliminations so everyone gets to race ALL night and a 'dial your own' handicap system, meaning everyone has a chance at a win.

Pit Allocations

Pit allocations are only completed for major events. Pits are first in first served at most Track Championship Events. Please ensure you pit in the associated area for the respective bracket.

Racer Refund Policy

To obtain a refund on competitor entry you MUST inform HVDRA in writing, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., no later than 2pm the day prior to commencement of the event.  If there are extenuating circumstances surrounding your withdrawal and you are not able to inform HVDRA by 2pm the day prior to racing you may submit a refund request in writing to the Hidden Valley President for consideration.

Off street events are the perfect opportunity to try out your own street car or bike in a safe and controlled environment.

Come and see what your pride and joy will do on the famous Hidden Valley Quarter Mile - we see everything from Grocery Getters to Supercars, Harleys to Postie Bikes having a go on the track so it's time you joined in the fun!

All you need is a Helmet (see approved specs below), Long Sleeve Shirt or Jacket, Long Pants and covered Shoes and Socks. Bike riders will need a Leather of Purpose made Riding Jacket, Gloves and ankle high Boots.

PASSENGERS

In a strategy to deliver additional safe, controlled options to dangerous practices on public roads, and to widen the already exciting off-street experience, ANDRA has worked with the Australian Drag Racing Promoters Association to introduce single passengers in some cars at off-street events. Single passengers will be permitted in cars racing in paired runs at designated off-street events. Check out OFF STREET PASSENGERS for more info.

HVDRA CLUB EXTRAVAGANZA!

 

We have expanded Saturday the 1^st of July into a special Club Extravaganza with Off Street racing as well as Burnouts and a Show n Shine !!!

 

 

After the Comp Cars finish testing at approx 11am on Saturday morning the track is open to all Street Racers with a competition between the car clubs and the winning club to receive $500 and a perpetual trophy sponsored by Boscato Panel works.

 

 

Then around 2 pm our Burnout Competitors hit the Colosseum to bust tyres left right and centre in Burnout Competition that has Prize money of $1000 for the winner and $500 for runner up!!!

 

 

Meanwhile there will be a Show n Shine on the grass behind the spectator hill sponsored by Shannons ...
